  • Techsoup.org TechSoup is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a clear focus: connecting your nonprofit or public library with technology products, plus the learning resources you need to make informed decisions about technology. Our free learning resources are available to all users. Once registered and qualified with TechSoup, nonprofits and libraries can access donated and discounted products and services, including high-quality refurbished hardware, and software from partners like Microsoft, Adobe, Cisco, Intuit, and Symantec.
  • Idealist Database of nonprofit organizations and resources worldwide.
  • Nonprofit Technology Enterprise Network The Non-Profit Technology Enterprise Network (N-TEN) is an organization dedicated to connecting and supporting individuals and organizations who empower non-profits to use technology to achieve their missions.
  • NPower National Outreach Through a National Partnership with Microsoft, NPower is now working to bring its model of non-profit technology services to communities around the country.
  • A New Framework for Building Participation in the Arts. A report from RAND. Available for personal download (Acrobat PDF) Arts organizations across the country are actively expanding their efforts to increase public participation in their programs. This report presents the findings of a RAND study sponsored by the Wallace-Reader's Digest Funds that looks at the process by which individuals become involved in the arts and attempts to identify ways in which arts institutions can most effectively influence this process. TechRocks! Activities include the free eBase nonprofit relationship management system. A supporting organization to the Rockefeller Family Fund.

  • Accessibilty Resource Center From the National Endowment for the Arts.
  • Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) From the World Wide Web Consortium, the organization that establishes the international standards for web page coding (including HTML). WAI, in coordination with organizations around the world, pursues accessibility of the Web through five primary areas of work: technology, guidelines, tools, education and outreach, and research and development.

  • Americans for the Arts (AFTA) National arts advocacy.
  • Alliance of Artists Communities Artists' communities are professionally run organizations that provide time, space, and support for artists' creative research and risk-taking in environments rich in stimulation and fellowship.
  • Art Museum Network The world�s largest and most prestigious art museums have joined forces to provide free access to information about their collections, exhibitions, and services.
  • Association of American Cultures (TAAC) The mission of TAAC is to represent the distinctive and collective concerns of people of diverse populations in the United States and its Trust Territories, in regard to the preservation and creative vitality of their respective cultural identity through the arts. TAAC is committed to the concept of Cultural Diversity as a distinct element in American public arts policy.
  • Association of Performing Arts Presenters Continuing education, funding, government affairs and other resources for presenters.
  • Creative Capital, a New York City-based nonprofit organization, acts as a catalyst for the development of adventurous and imaginative ideas by supporting artists who pursue innovation in form and/or content in the performing and visual arts, film and video, and in emerging fields. We are committed to working in partnership with the artists whom we fund, providing advisory services and professional development assistance along with multi-faceted financial aid and promotional support throughout the life of each Creative Capital project.
  • The Foundation Center The mission of the Foundation Center is to foster public understanding of the foundation field by collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating information on foundations, corporate giving, and related subjects. Our audiences include grantseekers, grantmakers, researchers, policymakers, the media, and the general public.
  • Institute of Outdoor Drama - Located at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the Institute provides resources and national leadership for this popular theatre genre.
  • National Alliance for Media Arts and Culture (NAMAC) National association of nonprofit organizations and individuals committed to furthering the media arts: film, video, audi and digital.
  • National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) The main federal agency supporting the arts, they also have many research resources of value to arts organizations.
  • National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Similar to NEA, but with emphasis on academic, historical, heritage, and social issues.
  • NYFA Source is the most extensive national database of awards, services, and publications for artists of all disciplines. Artists, arts organizations, and the general public can access information on over 3,400 arts organizations, 2,800 award programs, 3,100 service programs, and 900 publications for individual artists nationwide, with more programs added every day.   • Planning Toolsite: Lessons Learned From the NEA. There are two components of the toolsite: a series of essays about the process of planning; and actual illustrations of organizational change within arts organizations.
  • Southern Arts Federation - Regional service organization for state arts agencies. Provides a regional booking conference for performing artists, research, and limited grant opportunities for arts organizations.
